So what’s the scoop with all this composting stuff?
Composting in a nut shell:
It’s the intentional process of having organic materials be decomposed by a team of diverse microorganisms. And with proper management and over the course of time, this process transforms these scraps and waste into a soil amendment that’s great for improving soil health and providing plants with the nutrients they need to flourish.
What can I put in my Good To Grow compost container?
Fruit and vegetable scraps, bread and grains, coffee grounds and paper filters, paper tea bags, eggshells, and those once beautiful cut flowers that are now sadly drooping out of your vase.
What should I be sure to leave out of my compost container?
Meat, fish, bones, cheese and dairy, oil, baked goods, and glitter (there is no redemption for glitter in this life).
